F is for Falling 1.3 is finished! I know many of you are saying, what about 1.2? Well, I ended up doing a complete overhaul of 1.1/1.2. So much so that it deserved a new version number. This is a HUGE update:
- Settings menu – just click on the info button, from here you can adjust control and sound options
- Better Controls!! You can now select touch or tilt controls.
- Tilt control refinement, the more you tilt, the faster you move
- Major performance improvements – everything is MUCH smoother
- ‘Play Again’ speed increase, it now resets the level MUCH faster
- Achievements, there are now 7 achievements (hit balloon boy, hit 100 birds, and fall for 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k and 20k feet)
I’ll be submitting the game shortly. As always, if you’ve left a review, please update it once you’ve played the new version.

F is for Falling 1.2 is just about done. It was a complete overhaul of the game, new features, refinements and major performance improvements. I’ve added touch controls, and refined the tilt controls. Movement is no longer linear either, you move faster depending on the tilt angle. I’ve added a settings screen and achievements. New music, new hazards and more. It’s a pretty substantial update!

F is for Falling has been steadly climbing the App Store rankings, faster and higher than I ever though would happen. In the United States, it currently sits at:
- Number 74 in the Top 100 Paid Arcade Games
- Number 95 in the Top 100 Paid Action Games
- Number 246 in Paid Games Overall
- Number 528 in Paid Apps Overall
That’s just incredible. In Canada it’s doing just as well:
- Number 84 in the Top 100 Paid Arcade Games
- Number 112 in the Paid Action Games
- Number 319 in Paid Games Overall
- Number 673 in Paid Apps Overall
And in Macau
- Number 14 in the Top 100 Paid Arcade Games
