Obliteration

18 Mar

Just a quick sneak peak at my upcoming iPad game. It’s called Obliteration and is coming along pretty quick. I’ve managed to get most of the artwork done, improved the gameplay in the Alpha and finally settled on the name. It’s an action / arcade game that will have 28-35 levels.

I’m hoping to have a working beta this weekend, I’ll post a YouTube video when it’s ready.

iPad Game

10 Mar

I started working on my first dedicated iPad Game. I’ve had this idea in my head for a game for a few months now, but the iPhone just didn’t have enough screen real estate to fit everything I wanted. When the iPad was announced, I began working on it. Last night I finally got the Alpha working how I wanted it, and today I started working on the Art Work. My goal is to have this ready on the iPad Launch Date. I’ll have a few marathon coding sessions this weekend.

I’ll post more details and sneak peaks as it get’s closer to release.

HypnoPhone 2.0 is out!

01 Feb

HypnoPhone is a ‘game’ I made last spring when I was first learning how to get stuff on the iPhone. It was pretty basic, but has some measure of popularity in the App Store. A few weeks ago I completely rewrote it from the group up, and it was just approved!

This new version is faster, smoother, and most importantly, now has a speed slider to adjust the spinning speed of objects. Just touch the screen near the home button to see the slider, and touch the screen near the ear piece to go back to the main menu.

You can check out some screenshots of it in action by visiting the games website.

F is for Falling

15 Jan

I’m wrapping up development on a new game that I created as part of the Macworld 2010 GameSalad Challenge. It started making the game on Monday, and I’ll be wrapping up development today (Friday). I spent about 3 hours a day, so it came together pretty quick. The longest part of making the game was creating the art work.

It’s called F is for Falling. the goal is to fall as long as you can without dying. Your player, a stunt man, jumps out of a plane without a parachute, right above an airshow. Dodging Airplanes, Hot Air Balloons, Helicopters, Rockermen and Hang Gliders, not to mention all the birds, can you make it all the way back to earth?

It will be submitted to the App Store this weekend.
